What you should know:

In order to register you must fill out all of the items marked with an asterisk. These fields are important to us in order to determine the type of volunteers we have coming to a project, where they are coming from and how we are able to contact them.
After you have filled out the personal information section please fill out our skills matrix so we can properly match your skills to the work we are doing.
If you question what an item on the skills matrix means you can click on that item and you will be given a general description of what is involved in that item if it is unclear. Some of the fields that we have such as plumbing and electrical are for skilled contractors only.
After you register you must still sign up on the calendar for the days you would be interested in working. Go to the calendar and click the “sign up” button. The system will then take you to the sign up screen. This screen will give you details about the type of work we will be doing and allow you to sign up as a skilled (you feel fairly comfortable in these tasks) or unskilled (directed labor) volunteer. We also have a few slots for part time volunteers which you are welcome to sign up for but we prefer knowing that we have people for the whole day as it makes our administration of the project easier.
If you know you have some days that you would like to volunteer but we do not yet have a project scheduled for that day or the project we have is not geographically desireable to you please sign up for our general availability. Our project scheduling is fluid and we may schedule a project or move a project location based on this availability.
After you have signed up we will e-mail you a reminder prior to your project day. If your schedule changes and you are unable to work on a day that you have signed up for please sign in to the system again and delete your sign up so that we know how many workers to expect.
