Annual Golf Classic, Monday, June 22, 2009, Bull Valley GolfClub, Woodstock
- We need volunteers to work on our Golf Outing Committee. We already have a chairperson for the committee. Volunteers are needed to help the chairperson plan and execute the different events of the outing. BIRDHOUSES AVAILABLE!
- McHenry County Hurricanes Travel Baseball Association has made some wonderful birdhouses for us as a fundraising project. Home Depot donated the materials. We have the birdhouses at our office in McHenry. We are asking for a minimum donation of $5.00 for each birdhouse. If you are interested in helping Habitat for Humanity -- and at the same time provide a home for a feathered friend -- please give us a call at 815-759-9002 to arrange a convenient time for you to stop in at the office to pick up a birdhouse.

Jazz on the Square, Pirro’s Restaurante, 228 Main Street,Woodstock, Live Jazz Jam Sessions, Thursdays, 7-11pm
- For all Thursdays in the month of January, 2008, a portion of the tips from a large tip jar will be donated to Habitat for Humanity of McHenry County.

McHenry County Association of REALTORS® 2007 Holiday Charity Gala Silent Auction

Cary Grove Neighborhood Life Group sponsored the following fundraisers for Habitat for Humanity of McHenry County:
- Cary Days Booth, July 7, 2007
- Lemonade Stands, July 15, 2007
- Walk-a-thon, August 26, 2007

12 - Hour Dance Marathon
- School District 155 sponsored a 12-hour Dance Marathon, held at Crystal Lake South High School, and benefited Habitat for Humanity of McHenry County.

During the McHenry Fiesta Days celebration, Re/Max Plaza in McHenry decided to hold a fund-raiser for our affiliate. They were able to secure the Re/Max hot air balloon and pilot. Ticket sales for tethered balloon rides were donated to our affiliate. In addition, Rob Schaid and his team presented a check for $500.00. While the weather was not cooperative – too windy – this was a fun event, and we hope they will consider partnering with us in the future.

Spring Vocal Showcase
- The Barb Olita Voice Studio sponsored a Spring Vocal Showcase to benefit Youth United.
Youth United Walkathon
- Youth United held a walkathon at Emricson Park in Woodstock.
Youth United T-Shirt Design Contest
- Youth United sponsored a T-Shirt Design Contest. Yaroslav Makismov was the winner of the Contest.
